Fall HarvestingEach fall we get together to celebrate the end of the summer and the beginning of our fall harvesting season. We spend time gathering acorn, grains, nuts, berries and all the fruit and vegetables that are available to us. In this class you will learn several methods of preparing acorn for use, including leaching the tannic acid out with primitive and modern methods, as well going over techniques for drying or preserving many other foods that have been harvested.
