The next step for many of our students, this class introduces advanced skills not covered in the base class. The material varies to match the season it is taught in. Advanced shelters, grass mats, coal burning, flint knapping, and hunting skills may be covered during this class.
This class includes a multitude of hands on projects that you will be working on, both individually and with other people. Please come prepared to use your knife, hand saws or other hand tools. Make sure to bring a notebook as there will be much new material covered.

Required equipment:

• Sharp sturdy knife
• Notebook and pencil/pen
• Bathing suit and blindfold
